We have just done a lovely set up at the Casa Hotel, Chesterfield. WOW what a super duper venue - uber contemporary with fantastic, helpful staff ! We have created the venue decor for a 30th Birthday meal for 40 guests. Luxury white chair covers wigth crisp white sashes in a wrap style. Stunning candelabras, along with an eclectic mix of fishbowls and tea lights set the scene for a truly stunning, classy set up. Thats the thing with Blue Horseshoe - we arent just for weddings, we do venue decor for everything from birthdays, christenings, leaving parties, anniversary celebrations....anthing really - we will turn the ordinary in to the extrodinary ! |

Been out this eveing to meet Sam and Melanie to discuss their civil partenership next September. It will be a stunning venue set up, all creams and vintage,very stylish. Very early planning stage at this moment but lots of ideas already. |

I have Spent a lovely lunch time with Laurie planning her and Johns engagement party at the Pastures Lodge in Mexborough. Laurie has decided on a very modern black and hot pink theme. We will do black chair covers with a hot pink wrap, black table cloth's hot pink table runners with black and hot pink buffet table swags, and for the centre pieces; black ostrich feathers with splashes of hot pink feathers and hot pink balls in a tall vase, all on a mirror base, and for an extra touch of glamour hot pink table crystals. |

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Pegg - Married yesterday at the Olde House Hotel in Chesterfield. Julie at the Olde House hotel was, as always, helpful and happy! After the redecoration at the Olde House the Venue was set up for a civil ceremony in the Needham suite and was designed with Ivory chair covers with navy blue sash bows, with a twist bow on the registry table chairs , in the wedding breakfast room the theme carried through ivory covers with navy bows and beautiful top table swags to co-ordinate the whole theme. |

Its been a busy week again for us - planning all of our upcoming wedding fayres and several bridal meetings ! Its always lovely to meet our couples for the 1st time and chat through what they want for their perfect dream day - and this week is no exception..... It was our pleasure to meet Sam & michael, Jennifer & sean and Angie and Joel this week ! Im sure we are going to get to know each alot more and have lots of fun planning your weddings ;) Dont forget guys we have a great selection of stationary available now including beautiful bespoke invitations, seating plans, post boxes plus much more. |

Hi Guys, Its been a busy couple of weeks for us, lots of lovely weddings and several wedding fayres. We provided venue decor at Ringwood hall yesterday for Amanda and Wayne, we transformed the Coach House restaurant in to a beautiful vintage chic feast.....ivory covers with a cadbury purple bow along with vintace candle holders on large mirror bases with twinkling tea lights.....simply stunning!! We transformed the lovely Fox & Goose at Wigley for Lee and Madelaine's stylish wedding on Saturday. |

Its been one of the busiest weekends of the year so far - 5 weddings down and 2 to go. We have dressed chairs at The Beauchief, Painshill, The Charnwood, Southwell Race course & Ringwood....photos to follow. Thats it for tonight folks |
